Four rooms, one address, thirty years

Not a stock photo on the page. This is the lot you pull into, the bay your car goes up in, and the room you wait in while it does.

Bay 01 / Lift

The bay

One drive through bay off the lot, with the roll up open most of the day. Alignment work, brakes and tire fitting all happen in here, which is why a tire problem that turns out to be a suspension problem does not need to go anywhere else.

Room 02 / Lounge

The waiting room

Yellow walls, an arcade cabinet that still works, a television and enough seats that you are not standing. A visitor from out of town wrote that they were fixed up and gone in under two hours, and called this the nice part.

Where the estimate gets written and where Blake usually is. Same day estimates, and a phone call before anything beyond the quote gets touched. Eric Borisouth runs the shop day to day as general manager.

The lot

Park anywhere on the front. There is a night drop if you need to leave the car outside Monday to Friday, eight to six, and pickup and delivery if you cannot get it here at all.

03b / Fleets

Half of what goes up on that lift is somebody’s working fleet.

Service and delivery vans, rental fleets, utility and corporate cars, hospital, casino, municipal, construction and sanitation vehicles. Commercial tires up to 19.5 inches, safety inspections, and a maintenance record per vehicle you can ask to see any time.

Same building, same corner of Southwest Boulevard, since 1994. Open Monday to Friday, eight to six.

A special thank you to Blake, who always follows up after service to make sure everything is running well. That kind of personal attention and customer care is rare these days.

Eric and the guys always take care of me. More importantly, they're always honest with me. The price is fair, might not be the lowest, certainly isn't the highest, but what's the price of honesty.

Meet the shop

05 Before you call

The questions we get at the counter

If yours is not here, call (913) 262-0111. Someone who works on the cars will answer it.

Both, under one roof. Tires are half the shop and full auto repair is the other half, from brakes, alignment and suspension through engine diagnostics, transmission work, cooling systems, electrical and preventative maintenance. That is deliberate. If a tire problem turns out to be an alignment problem, or an alignment problem turns out to be a worn suspension component, the car does not need to go anywhere else.

The shop was established in 1994. Blake Breeden bought it in 2009 after leaving a corporate job, and he is still the owner you will meet at the counter. Eric Borisouth runs the shop as general manager, with Cody Hughey, Bryson Honeycutt and Paul Brake on the tools.

Yes. We give same day estimates, and the work is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor. If we find something while we are in there, you get a call before anything else is touched.

We stock and fit Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Bridgestone, Continental, Cooper, Dunlop, Firestone, Goodyear, Hankook, Kelly, Kumho, Maxxis, Nitto and Yokohama, and we can get tires of any brand, make or model, usually the same day. Mount and balance is included.

We do. We handle service and delivery vehicles, rental fleets, utility and corporate fleets, hospital, casino, municipal, construction and sanitation vehicles, and we take commercial tires up to 19.5 inches. We accept ARI, Element and Enterprise fleet accounts, and we keep detailed maintenance records on every vehicle that you can ask to see at any time.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. There is a night drop at the shop if you need to leave a vehicle outside those hours.

We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and cash. The shop speaks English and Spanish. Pickup and delivery is available if you cannot get the car to us.

06 Bring it in

Tell us what it is doing and we will tell you what it is.

Describe the noise, the pull or the light on the dash. You get a same day estimate, a call before anything past it gets touched, and a year on the parts and the labor.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Night drop available.
